Building Architecture Meets Network Architecture“I’m glad they built the new building with Ethernet. The old dial-up building was way too slow.”

Fact: When I first saw just one picture of the building, I wanted to repost it as I thought it was cool. But it was relatively low quality, and I wanted a higher quality photo. So, my ethical hacking skills kicked in and paid off. I used Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) to find a better picture of this and some other things and decided to take a humor post and go cyber sleuth style on it.

Now for some fun and jokes:

“I worked there once as a receptionist. I had five guys come in late one night; 4 were absolutely wasted. I could only assume the other guy was the Designated Router.”

“I’m glad they built the new building with Ethernet. The old dial-up building was way too slow.”

“What an ugly building,” my friends said to me while working there. I said, ” Yeah, it is nothing compared to the people who live in RJ11 on the Southside; now that is pretty awful.”

Fact- It is completely real and in Kyoto, Japan – check it out on Google Maps that I found.

Fact- Then I decided to use more of my OSINT skills. They have a nice interior for the residential units.

“I wonder if the shower heads have flow control enabled.”

They even have what looks like a nice restaurant on the ground level in the building called Syokudo & Teishoku.

Fact- They even have a “Speed Reading” School in the building, SP Speed Reading Academy; and the subway is a block away from the building.

At least they are on ethernet and not dial-up. It makes perfect sense why they have a speed reading school there.

But they could use better cable management for how pristine the front of the rack looks…

Cable management: Spaghetti Cabling? No this is Japanese Noodle wiring lol. -It’s a joke, don’t get offended.
