This is my first attempt at getting into GPU Crypto mining and an attempt at documenting me building out the chasse to house all of the components. I was really curious about getting into Cryptocurrency mining.
I have no peers other than fellow mining enthusiasts in the game already teaching others about building rigs in general. So, I took my creativity, enthusiastic attitude, and desire to learn and studies from others and built my first rig.
I purchased a single CNmuca BTC S37 Miner Motherboard CPU Set 8 Video Card Slot motherboard that has 8 PCIe slots for 8 GPUs, an 8GB Single Laptop Notebook PC Computer Memory Module, a 1800W Mining Power Supply, a Kingston 240GB A400 SATA 3 2.5″ Internal SSD hard drive, a few ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Super Overclocked 6GB Edition HDMI DP DVI Gaming Graphics Cards, and began my build of a custom rig frame/chassis. They make some online, and I ordered one or two and they didn’t seem to do the trick or fit with pre-fab open-aired chassis.
So, I decided to build my own as those in the mining community seem to like to make their own. I had some extra wood laying around, so I figured why not? Combine power tools, woodworking, and some computer building into a fun Crypto project using Hive OS. Use promo code “zpent” minus the quotes so I can get a kickback if you sign up and start using Hive OS. I would highly recommend using Hive OS for this type of mining project.
